Inno Shadow 15 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2016 Acura MDX- Video
Hey guys, today we have a 2016 Acura MDX and we're going to do a test fit of the Inno Shadow 15 rooftop cargo box. Now, this cargo box is a great accessory to add onto your roof rack. It's going to allow you to get a lot of that excess cargo or luggage loaded up into there, because there is no space on the inside of your vehicle, so that you have more elbow and leg room for those longer road trips you might be taking. One of the things I really like about this box is you can see it's got a really nice low profile to it. It's not one of those boxes that's going to add a ton of height to your roof, it's going to help cut down on wind noise and drag, you can see it's got a really nice sleek aerodynamic shape to it as well. So, that's going to help out also. more

Yakima Roof Box Review - 2016 Acura MDX- Video
Today on our 2016 Acura MDX we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Yakima SkyBox Lo Rooftop Cargo Box.I've already got it in place just to give you a good idea of what it looks like on your MDX. Now with this box it's gonna allow you to free up space inside your MDX for more gear or passengers and pets. As you can see it's a low-profile design. This is gonna be great for skis and snowboards, anything that you're not looking to stack up real high. It's about 11-1/2 inches tall, about 92 inches long, and about 36 inches wide. So where it lacks in that height it makes up for in width. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2016 Acura MDX- Video
Today on our 2016 Acura MDX, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box. I've already got it in place just to give you a good idea what it looks like. This is going to allow us to carry gear up and on top of our roof rather than inside of our vehicle. This is a great option rather than carry a cargo carrier or use a trailer behind our vehicle. This is very similar to a roof-mounted basket except that this is going to give us security and protect us from the elements. That way we can leave it unattended.It's universal so it's going to work with your round, square, aero, elliptical and most factory roof rack systems. more

Malone Roof Box Review - 2016 Acura MDX- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Acura MDX we're gonna be doing a test fit of our Malone Cargo 12 Rooftop Cargo Box. That's part number NPG901. As you can see, this is a very simple but effective cargo box, it's gonna hold up to 12 cubic feet of cargo. So it's gonna be great for taking any cargo that we don't want to store in our Acura. It features a locking mechanism to make sure that our cargo is secure while we're out and about. To open the cargo box we're gonna simply turn it to the unlock position and lift up on our lid. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Acura MDX- Video
Today on our 2016 Acura MDX we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima RocketBox. This is going to be the Pro 11, 11 cubic feet of cargo space, and it's going to come in that nice gloss black finish. Is going to be part number Y07193. Now first things first, we'll go ahead and set it up on the vehicle so we can get the feet up and in their proper places. Now if your feet aren't adjustable like they are with this one, we'll first need to tilt it down. You can see that we're going to need to adjust those, so we'll turn the key to the unlocked position and open it up. more

Today on our 2016 Acura MDX we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14. This is going to have 14 cubic feet of cargo space and come in that nice gloss black finish. It's going to be part number Y07192. First thing we're going to do is set it up on top of our round bars. Now this will fit your square bars, aero bars, even your factory crossbars. First thing you want to do is make sure that you have it evenly distributed as far as your feet being placed. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2006 Acura TL- Video
Today on our 2006 Acura TL we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Roof Top Cargo Box, measuring twenty-two cubic feet, in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a Thule Arrow Blade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. Since the feet are hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around our load bars, while placing the box onto our roof rack. Once we have the box situated the way we like, we can then open the passenger side of the box and use the hand knobs to tighten the two feet around our bars on this side. When you hear a clicking or a ratcheting sound, that means that you got the clamps tight enough. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. more

Please keep in mind that this box opens from one side only, so for todays video well be setting it towards the passengers side for easier accessibility. With the Thule aero-blade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle well begin our test fit by placing the box directly onto our load bars. Well go ahead and open the box and then place our feet through the appropriate slots making sure that they go around our load bars. Once we have all four of those in we can then use the attached hand knobs to tighten them around our bars. With all four feet tight our box is secured to our roof rack and were ready to go. That completes todays test fit for the Thule Pulse Large roof top cargo box, part number TH615 on our 2006 Acura TL. more

Today, on our 2006 Acura TL, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box, measuring 21 cubic feet, in Aeroskin black, part number TH626. With the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test-fit by placing the Thule Force directly onto our load bars. Since the feet are already hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust it as necessary to fit it around our bars while placing it onto our roof rack. Once we have it situated the way we like, we can open the passenger's side of the box and use the hand knobs to tighten our feet around our bars on this side. Once of the great features of the Thule Force is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining clamps using the hand knobs. With everything tight and secure, our box is all loaded up and we're ready to go. more

After positioning the clamps over the crossbars, we'll unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the load bars, and you'll notice when the clamps have been fully tightened down when they start to make a clicking sound. We'll then close the box and move to the other side of the vehicle, where we will again unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We'll then take our clamps and slide them through the slots on top of the crossbars. We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the crossbars. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, you can see that we can easily access to the rear hatch of our RDX with the Thule Pulse secured. more

We'll unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We'll then take the clamps and slide them down through the slots on top of the crossbars, and turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the load bars. With all the clamps all tightened down and secured, you can see that with the Alpine's long design, we cannot access the rear hatch with the box secured. And that will complete today's test fit for the Thule Pulse Alpine rooftop cargo box, part number TH613, on our 2013 Acura RDX.. more

We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the load bars.
